JASON Local Explorers Program

Over the years, the renowned JASON Learning Argonaut Program has touched the lives of countless students, opening their eyes to the wonders of STEM and nurturing their curiosity and passion for discovery. Inspired by the Argonaut Program and the desire to expand the reach and influence of STEM education at the local level, JASON is developing the JASON Local Explorers Program.

The purpose of the JASON Local Explorers Program is to develop a comprehensive collection of resources and training materials that empower educators, organizations, and communities by equipping them with the tools and resources they need to create transformative learning experiences that foster real-world STEM applications.

Our vision is to nurture curiosity, ignite a passion for discovery, and provide students with engaging hands-on experiences. Through the JASON Local Explorers Program, we aim to create a network of local explorers who will uncover the wonders of STEM right in their own communities.

We are currently in the process of developing the JASON Local Explorers Program and need your support.

With your support, we will be able to create:

  • Local Explorers Program Content: A comprehensive set of materials for both teachers and students from JASON partner school districts to participate in a local STEM experience, including background information, project ideas, and resources.
  • Training and Professional Development: Training sessions that will empower educators with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively run a Local Explorers Program.
  • Ongoing Support and Networking: You will contribute to the creation of a vibrant community of educators, mentors, and experts. This network will foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and ongoing support, enabling program participants to connect, learn from one another, and amplify their impact.

Your generous support will not only help us develop this innovative program but also enable us to expand access to quality STEM education for students from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that all young minds have the opportunity to explore, discover, and unlock their potential.

Join us in our endeavor to shape the next generation of scientists, innovators, and explorers. Together, we can inspire young minds, foster a love for STEM, and create a brighter future for all.

Explore. Discover. Inspire.
