In ARGO Math, students get to explore the major domains of math, then apply them to important real-world phenomena, like storms or earthquakes, as well as relevant challenges and opportunities, such as creating better infrastructure or developing a successful business plan. Through immersive, hands-on learning experiences, supported by Math-Mapper, a revolutionary, learner-centered math learning tool developed by researchers at North Carolina State University, students gain and apply foundational math skills. Through these activities grow their critical and design thinking skills, and develop their data analysis and modeling skills. Get ready for your students to go BIG with their math.
In this learning experience students will explore how linear relationships – expressions, equations and inequalities – are used to solve exciting and important real-world challenges. From designing an amusement park to developing a business plan, students will learn how to be creative and get entrepreneurial with their Algebra.
