FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ASHBURN, VA (April 14, 2025) — JASON Learning is proud to announce that it has earned the 2025 Platinum Seal of Transparency from Candid, the world’s largest source of nonprofit information. This is the highest level of recognition offered, placing JASON Learning among the top 0.1% of nonprofits nationally.

The Platinum Seal of Transparency signals that JASON Learning goes above and beyond in sharing clear, comprehensive information about its goals, strategies, metrics, and results with funders, partners, and the public. This distinction highlights JASON Learning’s commitment to its mission-driven work to inspire and educate PreK–12 students through real-world STEM education and exploration.

“JASON Learning has been around for nearly 36 years, and throughout that time, we’ve always believed in being open and transparent with our partners and supporters. Earning the Platinum Seal from Candid is a testament to our continued commitment to transparency and accountability.”

—Dr. Eleanor Smalley, President and CEO of JASON Learning

Candid’s Seals of Transparency help donors and supporters better understand a nonprofit’s work by providing key information such as financials, leadership, goals, strategies, capabilities, and progress indicators. The Platinum Seal demonstrates that JASON Learning shares both quantitative and qualitative data to highlight measurable progress and long-term outcomes.

“We are proud to receive this recognition. It not only validates the hard work our team does every day, but also reinforces our deep commitment to the communities we serve. With this seal, we can continue to build trust with our donors and partners and help advance STEM education across the country.”

—Charlie Adams, CFO and COO at JASON Learning

Since its founding in 1989, JASON Learning has worked to bridge the gap in science education by offering immersive, real-world learning experiences to students across the nation. JASON’s programs—such as its hands-on STEM curricula, immersive field expeditions, and career-connected learning pathways—are designed to meet the needs of today’s students and educators.

As JASON Learning moves into its next chapter, the organization remains committed to expanding its reach and maintaining its focus on transparency. Looking ahead, JASON is focused on enhancing its programs to further meet the needs of a diverse student population, ensuring that every student has access to high-quality STEM learning experiences. By continuing to share its goals and progress openly, JASON aims to foster greater engagement and long-term partnerships in support of equitable STEM education.
