ASHBURN, VA (July 25, 2022) — JASON Learning (JASON), a nonprofit with innovative PreK-12 STEM education solutions, is recognized for awards in two categories of the 2022 Educators Pick Best of STEM Awards.
JASON’s Early Childhood STEM Program won the “Trailblazer: Early Learning (PreK-6)” award, and JASON’s Design & Pitch Challenges, in partnership with NCSU, won the “Social Impact: Developing Citizen Scientists” award.
The Best of STEM Awards is the only awards program judged by a qualified panel of STEM educators for STEM educators. The Trailblazer: Early Learning category recognizes STEM providers who provide products and services that push the boundaries of technology for teaching and learning. The Social Impact category acknowledges products and services that demonstrate a positive impact for teachers, students, and society.
The Best of STEM 2022 educator judges raved about JASON’s STEM solution for young learners, which includes play-based activities, children’s literature, and robust professional development for educators.
The educator judge for the Trailblazer: Early Learning Award said, “The JASON Early Childhood STEM Program is a robust resource that has intentionally been designed to ignite the curiosity of children. The platform has a vast array of lessons that incorporate all areas of STEM.”
In addition, the educator judge for the Social Impact: Developing Citizen Scientists Award said, “Having been around for thirty years, this STEM content non-profit organization leverages knowledge and design skill applications to positively impact lives. Through nine Design and Pitch Challenges, JASON Learning aims to do just that. Students learn how to launch, design, research, create a prototype, justify the purpose, and pitch while creating something new throughout the process.”
